MASTERPLAN OVERVIEW
Ghana Integrated Aluminium Masterplan
- Building a Fully Integrated Aluminium Economy — From Mine to Manufacturing
The Ghana Integrated Aluminium Masterplan provides a comprehensive framework for developing a complete aluminium value chain, from sustainable bauxite mining and alumina refining to smelting and high-value downstream manufacturing.
The Masterplan positions aluminium as a strategic anchor industry supporting infrastructure delivery, automotive components, construction materials, packaging and export competitiveness. It integrates industrial zoning, energy strategy, environmental safeguards, financing frameworks and local content development to ensure long-term sustainability.
By transforming raw mineral resources into higher-value industrial products, the Plan strengthens domestic manufacturing capacity, creates skilled employment and supports export-led growth.
